The City of Adelaide Biodiversity Report is a snapshot of biodiversity within the Adelaide Park Lands. It provides the evidence base against which Council can measure and decide its actions to protect and restore habitat, plant and animal diversity.

The Park Lands & Sustainability Team needed to transform a technical document into a community engagement asset. They wanted it to appeal to a young audience and be easy to use. Importantly, Council uses the document to report on its biodiversity performance. The Word document was table heavy with the interesting facts buried deep in data descriptions.
Sharing technical facts with pizzaz. This was a super quick turnaround to reimagine a Word document filled with technical detail, tables and maps. The City of Adelaide Park Lands & Sustainability team were clear they wanted to celebrate the valuable information collected in the 2024 Biodiversity Survey; to share information that was valuable and important to the future of our habitats. Our job was to balance the technical information in a dynamic and visually appealing design inspired by the sheer natural beauty of the Park Lands. The result is a vibrant PDF that offers a stunning and easy user experience and elevates some hidden natural gems. Bold colour choices reflect the beauty we see in our Park Lands every day.
